I have been tutoring International students at my University for just under a year, so unfortunately my experience is a bit limited at this point. However, many of these students are not in any of my own classes so I tutor in a wide variety of subjects. English as a Second Language is my main focus and I plan on going to South Korea to teach ESL in the near future. For me, learning and helping others learn is an amazing experience; I am happiest when I am able to see those I'm helping click with the material they're going over. I am extremely patient, since the majority of my 'students' do not speak English as their first language. I always prepare thoroughly and find new and creative ways to help retain the information being learned.
